Biowe drive down the scenic coast
to a sparkling pier where hippies smile and hand us flowers
we're surrounded by poets and beautiful beatniks
music fills the sky in a crowded cafe
we drink warm chocolate and wine
while surfing the beach for waves
museums light up the street
he takes me in his arms and tells me that I am his art
but cheap beer and love is all i'll ever find in this busy city
